We will be entering our 2nd year of running the Waterford Recreation Drone Club and are looking for support from the Waterford Community!

6th-8th Grade students that are part of the Drone Club learn to assemble drones, understand the parts and their use, safety, how to fly virtually and flying drones using an oculus.  All of this hard work leads up to competing in the Ice Storm Drone Competition in April.  We send three teams to participate in this competition that features teams from all over the country.  

We are looking for donations to help offset costs due to the higher end expenses a program like this experiences.  Aside from purchasing new parts for our drones, we also pay a large fee to enter the Ice Storm Drone Competition per team.  With all these costs adding up, we are in search of donations to help lower the program registration cost for the kids so we can have as many kids participate as possible.
