Register now for the 2nd Season of Waterford Recreation Department's Boys High School Intramural Basketball League!

Grades: 9th - 12th
Game Day: Mondays
Game Dates: January 20th to March 10th
Game Times: 8:15pm and 9:15pm
Game Location: Fox River Middle School

***INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATING ON A WIAA BASKETBALL TEAM ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PLAY***

Rules and Information

League Structure
The league can have a maximum of 6 teams and 54 total players, so spots are limited!  Each team will have a designated captain and those captains will participate in a league draft to pick teams.  The league draft will take place after the registration deadline passes.

Jerseys
Each team is responsible for their own team jerseys.  Jerseys MUST have a number on the back.  We have a limited number of spare jerseys available if a team is in need.

Player Conduct
We have a ZERO tolerance rule for poor behavior.  If any player receives two technical fouls in one game, throughout the season or is thrown out of a game by the officials, they will be REMOVED from the league and will not receive a refund.

Open Gym
There will be two open gym opportunities for registered players ONLY.  Anyone not registered for the league will NOT be allowed to participate in these open gyms.

Saturday, January 11th: 12-2pm at Fox River
Sunday, January 19th: 7-9pm at Fox River

Practices
Teams will have the opportunity to practice one night a week for one hour.  Teams will pick which practice day and time they prefer for their weekly practices.  Due to gym availability, these practices will take place on Wednesdays or Thursdays from 6-7pm or 7-8pm and will begin on February 12th.  A team parent MUST be present at each practice and they will ensure that only players registered on their team are present.  Once teams are created, team captains will pick their practice day of the week and time.

Regular Season Structure
Each team will play 5 regular season games (January 20th to February 17th).  The regular season will determine tournament seeding and which teams will play on February 24th for the #1 Seed.

February 24th
#1 vs #2 (Winner receives #1 seed, loser receives #2 seed)
#3 vs #6 (Loser Eliminated)
#4 vs #5 (Loser Eliminated)

March 3rd
#1 vs Lowest Remaining Seed (Loser to 3rd Place Game)
#2 vs Highest Remaining Seed (Loser to 3rd Place Game)

March 10th
8:15pm 3rd Place Game
9:15pm Championship (Champions will receive T-Shirts)
