Coaches Handbook
Grades (2024-2025 School Year): 2nd - 8th (Teams will be formed based on grade. Depending on registration numbers, multiple grades can be combined.)
Cost: $65 (Includes team shirt)
Location: Evergreen Elementary
Practices
Teams will practice once a week beginning the week of September 9th. Practice day and time will be picked by each teams Head Coach. There will be 2 weeks of practice before games begin.
Team Structure and Formation: We will form teams based on the number of participants registered. Teams will be formed based first on what day of practice you indicate your child is able to practice. We will then try to form teams based off coach/friend requests as best as possible. If you request a coach/friend that has different preferred practice day(s) picked than you indicated, you will not be placed on a team with them.
Volunteer Coaches: All teams must have at least 1 volunteer coach. Volunteer coaches will pick the teams practice time on their designated day.
Games (Saturdays)
Teams will play 6 total games. Game dates are 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19 & 10/26.
Game Times: 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm (Depending on number of teams)
Game Play: Games will consist of two 20 minute halves with a 5 minute halftime break.
Football Sizes
Pee Wee - 2nd/3rd Grade
Junior - 4th/5th Grade
Youth - 6th-8th Grade
Rain Outs: There will be NO rain outs unless there is severe weather. Head Coaches will be notified if there is a rain out and we will also post on Facebook. Any game that is cancelled will NOT be made up.
Picture Day: Picture Days will be on September 28th and October 5th. More information will be sent out prior to Picture Day with times for each team and how to order pictures online. Plan for pictures to run from roughly 8am - 12pm (depending on number of teams).
