Wrestling - Open Mat

The Waterford Recreation Department will be offering wrestling open mats during July of 2024.  Any athletes entering grades 6th-12th are welcome to attend.  Workouts will be one hour and will be loosely structured.  Athletes will warm up, stretch and begin drilling on their own.  There will then be one topic of technique covered each practice. (Example: 2 on 1 Offense, Singles, Leg Riding, Crab Riding, Scrambling, Defense, etc) Workouts will then finish with live wrestling and games.
